How did Buddha die?
I know you must be lingering in your heart, i must be very cranky to write such an article. This was a vivid argument which i had with a close friend of mine for hours together and end up in a deep silence.I was just asking to myself, is the process of death so important?.
If dealth is concerned with the physical absence of somebody, i am really not interested about it.Everything which has a beginning should have a end in nature.Neither is the process of dealth nor birth with oneself, the only thing i have with me is living.
Mahathma Gandhi would have been revered as a great person who lived for the masses, irrespective of whether Godse pounded his body.Rajiv Gandhi would have been admired as a great modern visionary of India inspite of the Tigers tearing his flesh apart. They were all killed because there were a category of people who dreaded martyr's deeds (a purposeful living). Is'nt the process of living more fundamental than the method of leaving this ethereal world. If great soldiers die and the people gather in masses to pay them homage, it is not for the way they were muttoned by the enemy, its for their spirit to save and die for the country.
Let's live Life in a better way instead of worrying about death which can never be controlled!!!.
Even i was curious about how buddha died and googled it.SHORT ANSWER: The Buddha died of old age, when he was eighty years old. The death was triggered by his body reaction to a dish of wild mushroom. He died peacefully and mindfully.Buddha still lives in the lives of people who follow his principles
