Rendezvous with Hari
It was yet another friday,15th of July ending with lots lull in work, all to be rejenuated by my exciting weekend with Hari in Bangalore. For a change, Chennai had the coolness of Bangalore outsourced to its biosphere. There was a mild drizzle bidding adieu to me..
This trip was quite a reversal in the aspect that i was travelling from Chennai to Bangalore on a friday and the emotional plane was rewinding my nostalgies about my previous weekend shuttles. To add spice they rekindled some joy by playing one of my favorite movie " Thiruda Thirudi" in the bus for a while.
I was gazing at our landscapes and slowly inspired some sleep at the fag end, with the help of Plato's Republic.I suddenly woke up to some frisking sound, they were looking out for terrorists related to the Mumbai blast.I laughed within myself, do you except them to be travelling by normal buses, they must now be travelling with supreme comfort escorted by z-class security.
I woke up searching for comfort in that romantic cold when i crossed the border.Such a lovely place for inactivity and was wondering how people worked in the cyber capital.I breached the tenderness of the breeze, closely cuddling myself looking out for Hari's place.I had reached his apartment with the evident landmarks, still bamboozed by the kannada script in our cosmopolitan city.
An elegant figure welcomed me and i was startled by his courage to have a french beard in his face. His hairstyle travelled northward, must have dated with an antiquated novel on an obscure concept and thats what makes him interesting. He is our very own humanized wikipedia having gulped so many pages all his life.
He asked me to take some rest so that we could explore the rest of the day.I had erupted "am i here to sleep ?".He pacified me and had cooked egg-toast with his naive skills. He quipped "What's the plan for the day?".
We as usual started with an argument as to how important it was to pay taxes and a cess for a general cause.Hari was staunchly against any taxes for this infertile and inefficient government.I never thought he was always with me but was arguing to make me happy and to keep the conversation going. He had the generosity to give away Rs 251/- (could have been more if the person had a hunch about Hari's !@$#@$@) who had come to ask a donation for a known "unknown" cause.I felt a little tired after witnessing this act and complied my body with the bed by then, planning to awake in 10 min.
The sunrays had collated enough by now to make our appartment little warmer.I woke up and found that the short hand had reached 2 by then.I had Hari apologise to me for eating away our time.We had north indian delight this time.Hari had me pushed underneath my blankets by then, promising to return after he cleansed the vessels.
I woke up to see Thomas Alva Edison's invention blink before me, Hari pleaded for mercy.I had pardoned as he had two great people introduced to me in Landmark at the Forum. It was a pleasure meeting Arthur Schopenhauer against my will and Keirkeagaard with an ambigous either/or appearence.I had to wait in that damn long que only to see a young couple quench the distance between them.We had got some genuine junk food this time Mcdonald's burger and some pesticide.
Hari had another trick this time, he made me watch "Immsai Arrasan 23aam Pullikesi". I had to scramble my way in the dark to get into the custody of my blankets.I woke up the next morning only to smell noodles this time.I guess he had added some sophomoric tablets, to make me long for those blanket again. He blurted "2-minutes and i'll be back".He must be a real saddist to put me to sleep, must me a conspiracy to wash his clothes at his comfort.I woke up with my brain hooked to sleep.
I don't know who teaches all this to him, he appeased my palette with hot bathed rice coupled with pulliotharai mix and hot chips.I had no answer to his courteousnous.I was struck with awe wondering how lucky his partner would be.I was only disgusted to know that he has no intensions to marry. He believes in some weird concept about living. It's better,if he is castaway from women.I felt depressed only to realise how doctors were true, depression leads to the secretion of a fluid in the body which makes you sleeply.
Now finally, I woke up to watch me pack my way back to chennai.I can never can forget this weekend for the energy propelled during it.Hari, now i can feel with understanding why he incidently named his blog as boreyoutosleep.blogspot.com.
I left somebody who gave company to me in my banglore trip, Santhosh, in my dreams..
I'm glad you had a good time.
