Crumbling the Ice
Slowly but steadily I am losing hope
Dreams of an ideal world is a mere dope
I am already tired of fighting in open space
Beneath the ground runs a parallel dark race
Now days, human psyche is crumbling the ice
All to scrutinize if it is nothing but water
Gone are the times when trust had no price
In Kali Yuga, everything is suspect to falter
Graving for the selfless world is a case for the immatured
Aroma of a blissful community is nothing but farce
Its the only feeling in harmony, humanity is to get ruptured
Living life wholly is a thought abundantly scare
I must admit, I have experienced glimpses of utopia
Now, neither can I run nor hide or fake of dyslexia
Nobody is spared of tears in this whole game
Who cares, on earth, oneself is just another name!
Nice verse, nice thoughts...could do a spell check though...I think you meant "scarce" and not "scare".
Your unorthodox combination of para 1 with para 4 and para 2 to para 3 to rhyme struck me!!
